Kerry: Paris attacks lacked the 'rationale' and 'legitimacy' of when they shot up Charlie Hebdo

In the wake of last week's Islamic terror attacks in Paris, you would think our leaders would be altering strategies, increasing pressure on our enemies, and battening down the hatches here at home. They're not. Instead, they're maintaining the steady, ineffectual, course they'd already charted. ...And they're actually justifying previous terror attacks. Take a look at yesterday's statement from John Kerry, in which he compares the slaughter in Paris to the Charlie Hebdo attacks
"There’s something different about what happened from Charlie Hebdo, and I think everybody would feel that. There was a sort of particularized focus and perhaps even a legitimacy in terms of – not a legitimacy, but a rationale that you could attach yourself to somehow and say, okay, they’re really angry because of this and that. This Friday was absolutely indiscriminate. It wasn’t to aggrieve one particular sense of wrong. It was to terrorize people. It was to attack everything that we do stand for. That’s not an exaggeration. It was to assault all sense of nationhood and nation-state and rule of law and decency, dignity, and just put fear into the community and say, 'Here we are.' And for what? What’s the platform? What’s the grievance? That we’re not who they are? They kill people because of who they are and they kill people because of what they believe. And it’s indiscriminate. They kill Shia. They kill Yezidis. They kill Christians. They kill Druze. They kill Ismaili. They kill anybody who isn’t them and doesn’t pledge to be that. And they carry with them the greatest public display of misogyny that I’ve ever seen, not to mention a false claim regarding Islam. It has nothing to do with Islam; it has everything to do with criminality, with terror, with abuse, with psychopathism – I mean, you name it."

Where to begin? First of all, a sitting Secretary of State just attempted to diminish the horrific injustice of a terror attack in which 11 people were murdered and another 11 were injured - all because a few angry Muslims didn't like the "scary" cartoons they drew. It was an assault on free speech, free thought, and free expression, yet John Kerry apparently feels there was a legitimate rationale for it. ...Simply stunning. Then, he goes on to continue peddling the absolutely absurd pretense that the Islamic terrorism carried out by a group called "Islamic State in Iraq and Syria" has nothing to do with Islam. We're sure Kerry got a nice pat on the head from his boss, the Sympathizer in Chief, but one honestly has to wonder how much more of this will be tolerated by rank and file Democrats. Their party's leadership is so inept - so utterly detached from the reality of the situation we're facing - that even the braindead sheep who elected Obama twice have to notice it. If they don't care about their country, do they understand what these people are doing to their political party?
