He has consistently issued a call to arms against radical islamic terrorism while his opponent quibbles over offending mass murderers.

No American group has the market cornered on unfair treatment. I type this as an American raised in the South and stand by my statement. That said, our police officers are a US group mistreated like no other. The blue ( and other colors ) of their uniforms places them in a unique minority status.

Korryn Gaines: Madwoman or Martyr?

My first impression about this Baltimore County case was it seemed scripted. By scripted, I mean it reads like a zealot, determined to spark urban civil war against police, intentionally brandished (and used!) a shotgun against tactical officers with her five year positioned in the line of any return fire. NOPD Under Political Arrest

New Orleans hostages and honest policy makers should look to British police privatization-with apologies to PANO (the Police Association of New Orleans)-and American citizen on patrol models like Detroit Street Watchers and the Guardian Angels for relief from shrinking NOPD staff and growing violent crime. Outsourced police services and dedicated citizens on patrol can take the pressure off of the few officers left on the force- at least until the current mayor leaves office.
