It happened, thank God it happened - with the help of God and an army of angry and determined Americans, the United States of America can now begin to reclaim this nation from the hands of a power crazed horde of deranged socialist progressives.

A last Hurrah

Most satisfying outcome of yesterday's election is the resultant end of Mrs. Pelosi’s speakership along with the change in Committee chairmanships from Democratic to Republican which on the Hill is no small thing. Those chairmanships are where the real power on Capitol Hill lies.

50 Years & Counting

Fifty years ago today - Thursday October 28, 2010 - I was counting the final days until the Presidential election between Dick Nixon and John F. Kennedy was to take place on November 8th, 1960. I was just 34 years old and it was my first foray into national politics. Prior to that campaign all my efforts had been at the local level such as Congressional contests or just plain grass roots politicking, and I had thrown myself into my job as assistant to Jack Styles who headed the Nixon/Lodge Registration and Get-out-the-vote project. My work was just about done and my teeth were on edge since I was convinced that that election might be considered the most important in my lifetime and that the fate of the nation hung in the balance.

Who Really Done it?

Barack Obama has been barnstorming the country trying to prevent the onrushing electoral tsunami due to swamp his party on November 2nd when an angry electorate exacts their revenge against a president and Democratic party they believe betrayed them.

She’s no Joan of Arc, brazenly presenting herself before her King and informing him she’d been sent by Divine authority to save his throne, but in presenting herself before Delaware’s voters, Christine O’Donnell has shown herself to be made of the same courageous stuff as the Maid of Orleans.
