If you really want to keep Hillary out of the White House, get behind Trump now - and get over your egos.

VIDEO: My appearance on Fox News calling for Cruz and Kasich to accept the inevitable

Every time I say something like this, people say I "endorsed Donald Trump." To this day I have never "endorsed" anybody, but I do know how to recognize reality when I see it. And after last night's five-state sweep by Donald Trump, it's very clear what's inevitable. What I said this morning on Fox & Friends is what I want to reiterate here. If Republicans cannot, at this point, unite behind the inevitable nominee for the purpose of stopping Hillary, then her presidency will be the fault of those who couldn't put aside their own egos for the good of the party and the country:

It's that simple, really. The voice of the people was heard clearly last night, just as it's been heard throughout this entire primary season. They want a fighter who is willing to take on the establishment, and Donald Trump is that fighter. I understand there are many Republicans who don't like Trump and have issues with him, and that's fine, but when it's clear he's going to be the nominee, then a real Republican would at that point recognize the only priority now must be to stop Hillary. Only if your own ego is your top priority would you do otherwise. I hope that's not going to be the case with Ted Cruz and John Kasich, and that goes for the rest of the Republican Party establishment as well. Like Dan (who prefers Cruz, by the way) said the other day, you can't refuse to back Trump over Hillary and then claim it's not on you when Hillary wins. If you can't get over your personal issues with Trump for the purpose of stopping Hillary, then a Hillary victory will be very much on you. Can we all come to our senses, please, and not let that happen?
