A tale of two opening prayers: RNC and DNC side by side

I don't think I need to say too much here. They videos speak for themselves pretty nicely. But I'll make these two observations:

The RNC prayer makes multiple mentions of Jesus and acknowledges His lordship, while not mentioning any political candidate a single time. DNC mentions: Hillary 1, Jesus 0.
I am quite aware that different churches have different styles of worship, but even urban Pentecostal churches don't whoop and holler during prayer. Every other time, you bet, but not during prayer.
