Rob found the Ted Cruz machine gun bacon video funny enough, although he's concerned that Cruz is trying a little too hard to come off as a fun guy at the expense of talking issues. I concur, especially after Cruz's stock rose considerably in my eyes with his broadside against lying liar Mitch McConnell on the Senate floor the week before last.
But here's one thing you can always count on: The left has no sense of humor whatsoever, and if you're not careful they'll get the government food safety Nazis after you! Now just to be clear, it was not anyone at the USDA or any other government agency that went after Cruz for food safety apostasy. It was Britain's left-wing Guardian newspaper, which contracted FoodSafety.gov via an online chat to inquire about the safety of cooking bacon on the end of a machine gun.The Comment section of online publications is the new front in the ongoing Cancel Culture Battle.
