You almost wonder if they did it just to bait certain people into racist reactions, because boy, what a story that would be for the race-baiting left and their media allies in a presidential election year. Defeat the Tubman-hating racist Republicans!
Of course, there's nothing at all wrong with Harriet Tubman being on the $20 bill, because a) she was a perfectly admirable historical figure; and b) it doesn't matter in the slightest whose face is on your money. This is the sort of meaningless sybolism the left loves to pick fights over, and in this case they've already started attacking all the "right-wing racists" before any have even come forward.
