We're learning more about Debbie Wasserman Schultz's favorite IT staffer, Imran Awan, and none of what we're hearing is good.
You'll recall that Wasserman Schultz refused to fire Awan, even though she knew he was at the center of a a criminal investigation by the FBI and U.S. Capitol Police. According to the former DNC Chairwoman, he needed protection because he was the target of a racist, bigoted, right-wing witch-hunt. Finally, after he was arrested while trying to flee to Pakistan, she reluctantly sent him packing.
