It seems like in today’s mass pop-cultured world of fashion, the acceptance of being a “designer” seems to come lightly to those of celebrity status. One must not over look the fact that because a person is simply deemed a “designer” that he or she is good at their trade, and this should be said of celebrities.
Currently, amongst young Hollywood there is this need to design clothing. Of course that goes without saying that every time one of these “pop princesses” are interviewed about their fashion career choice they gush “ I have always loved clothes and fashion”. It’s interesting how the majority of these girls have always loved fashion, but lacked the sense of self-expression when they have people like celebrity stylist Rachel Zoë dressing them.The Comment section of online publications is the new front in the ongoing Cancel Culture Battle.
