The entire Senate has been asked to the White House for a Wednesday briefing on North Korea


Last week, Kim Jong Un threatened to annihilate parts of the United States in what Pyongyang termed "a super-mighty pre-emptive strike." Then we got a slew of reports indicating that a U.S. citizen had been detained by the North Korean government. Then, over the weekend, the Norks released a statement indicating they were preparing to sink a U.S. aircraft carrier conducting maneuvers in the region. Now, as tensions rise, everyone is waiting for the United States response. So far, we've heard nothing concrete. One suspects that's about to change.
