RyanCare is an abysmal attempt for Ryan to make good on his promise to repeal Obamacare. He has wasted a lot of time and energy solely focused on the tax benefits that he might be able to provide, rather than focusing on how to reduce costs for businesses and the country.
On the campaign trail Trump promised to reduce the premiums for everyone. He said he would not cut Medicare and that it would be the best plan ever. I don’t think he was talking about RyanCare. He was talking about a radical transformation in our healthcare system. Congress gets far too much money from the established Medical Lobbyist for Paul Ryan or Mitch McConnell to do anything of substance.
