...Because without America there is no Free World

Canada Free Press (CFP) is a proudly independent, 24/7 news site, updating constantly throughout the day. More than 100 writers and columnists file regularly to CFP from all corners of the globe. CFP rides on credibility and is edited by a lifelong journalist.

Canada Free Press does not sell, loan or give out its mailing list to anyone. You will receive a confirmation email back to the email you entered. You must respond to the email in order to receive our mail out of latest news and opinion.

Although we have been posting to the Internet for more than 14 years, on May 15, 2012 CFP celebrated its eighth anniversary as a daily. Espousing Conservative viewpoints, cornerstone of which focuses on love of God, love of family, love of country, CFP maintains a loyal and growing readership.

CFP senior journalist/editor Judi McLeod tries to answer each and every letter sent to CFP by readers. CFP's main ongoing inspiration is to provide accurate and well-researched stories for a loyal readership that are not printed or posted elsewhere.

CFP's Motto: "Because without America there is no Free World" is as meaningful today as it was when first adopted. America and the Free World must be guarded by all who believe in Liberty. Mantra: Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice (1596): "Truth will come to light; murder cannot be hid long; a man's son may, but in the end truth will out.

Policy on Submissions:

If you are interested in submitting material to CFP, please read the following guidelines before sending the submission to copy@canadafreepress.com.Because of the sheer number of submissions and the time it takes to proof and post articles, your submission may not be published.

All submissions of material for publication must be sent by email. CFP does not promote its address anywhere online. CFP does not pay for materials submitted. Articles intended for CFP publication should be emailed to copy@canadafreepress.com.

Original Material only: CFP publishes previously unpublished material only. We only publish articles and columns which have been published by other media outlets by running the first two paragraphs of the article sent before linking back to the site that originally published the work.

Quotes and research. All quotes from others used in pieces submitted must be contained between quotation marks and the article from which they are taken must be identified and dated in parenthesis following the quotes. Please note that CFP does not republish articles which have already been posted.

CFP Archives: Once material has been published by CFP and archived, literary rights become the property of the author, who may want to republish elsewhere. CFP controls full rights on removal of archived items.

Proofing: Please run your articles by a family member or friend before sending to cut down on typos. Please spellcheck your work.

Clarification: Should something in a submitted article be unclear, CFP will send an email asking for clarification. If the author does not write back with clarification, the article will be bypassed.

Accuracy: CFP relies heavily on the accuracy of its writers. Should an error be made, we will post a correction as soon as we are advised of the error.

Photos: CFP does not accept copyrite photos and uses photo shop, art and photos chosen by our staff.

Getting back to submitters: Because of the time constraints in running a site the size of CFP, it is not always possible to get back to submission authors. Please Note: Sending in an article, which states at the bottom, "Series 2 Next" is no guarantee Series 2 will be posted.

Nom de plumes; pseudonyms: It is not CFP policy to publish articles written under nom de plumes and pseudonyms. If you have the courage of your opinions then you should not hide your identity from readers.

Foul and profane language: CFP spikes and will continue to spike all materials where foul and profane language is used. The use of both show a lack of good vocabulary.

Using the CFP comment section: CFP will remove the comments of any columnist attacking a columnist colleague through the Comment Section. If you disagree with a colleague, courtesy demands that you write him/her directly.
