Sound theology is being supplanted daily by the church’s drive toward a more social gospel. Fighting poverty, aids, hunger and homelessness are now considered more important than getting people saved. Are we on the right track?

Isn’t it wonderful!  Thanksgiving is here next week then Christmas will be on its way!  We have so much to be thankful for and celebrate,  especially those liberals and “special” people.  Given how special the far left is,  I tried to rewrite a few carols in honor of them.

Earlier today Ralph McCloud, director of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD), offered an eloquent but unconvincing defense of the radical charity he works for. He provided the commentary at the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) Fall General Assembly in Baltimore. The Palinology Symposium is now in full swing and the mainstream media’s aberrant preoccupation with the former Alaska governor has reached insalubrious proportions.  The Associated Press deployed eleven reporters to fact check Palin’s book, Going Rogue.  Fact checking, in this context is euphemistic, at best.  It’s the same sort of “fact checking” Hillary Clinton used to dictate be done to Bill’s female victims and other enemies of the Clinton state. 

To those who have mostly known the Internet as their source of news, the notion that there is an “information deficit” may seem an odd judgment, but it is one that an old friend and longtime observer of the public relations profession recently made.

Early on the morning of Governor Sarah Palin’s book release day, USA Today’s The Oval blog posted a piece asking who was more qualified to be president, Clinton or Palin. Naturally, instead of using an image of Sarah Palin’s book cover to illustrate the story, USA Today used the attack book against Palin that mimics Palin’s cover in a cynical bid to confuse readers on which book is which.

During a recent discussion about health care costs and reforms, President Obama indicated that he supports continuation of current practices whereby free medical care is provided to illegal aliens in emergency situations. The president justified his position as a “Basic Standard of Decency.”

Prior to the last legislative session in Nevada I proposed the bill summarized below. Because illegal immigration yet again became the top story in my local newspaper, and because every elected official we currently have in Washington is unable to give a clear answer as to what to do about it, I thought it was time to illustrate that the answer is really quite simple. Enforce the blinking law!!
