Republicide:  the Party’s Suicide Pact

Have the republicans entered into a suicide pact? The party’s latest stratagem, a national “listening tour” would be laughable if it wasn’t so piteous. Republicans lost the House in 2006; followed by a disastrous campaign in 2008 that enabled Nazi collaborator, George Soros to install his Marxist marionette in the White House, and the party’s solution is to send out in the RINO’s?

Our Miss Brooks:  Welcome to the Soros Pentagon

One of the many perks of being POTUS, or TOTUS, if you are a stickler for accuracy, is that you don’t need to go through the nettlesome process of applying for a security clearance. POTUS gets to decide by fiat what positions should require clearance, and we must accept his appointments as competent patriots, notwithstanding titanic amounts of evidence to the contrary. The president is also at liberty to install incontestably unqualified individuals to sensitive posts.

Barry Doesn’t Need No Stinkin Security Clearance!

How perplexing it is that the leader of the free world and possessor of the nuke codes is not required to have a national security clearance. An Army private who may come into contact with classified documents must be cleared. The Commander in Chief is exempt from any such scrutiny.

Punk’d by Despots:  FDR and Barack Obama

Inasmuch as Barack Obama fancies himself alternatively the reincarnation of Abraham Lincoln or Franklin Delano Roosevelt, a closer perusal of FDR’s policies is in order. Beyond the disastrous New Deal, a massive expansion of government bureaucracy and spending which extended the length of the Great Depression; FDR’s dealings with the homicidal Joe Stalin are revealing.

Barry’s Got the Nuke Codes, But No Security Clearance!

Is it possible that as brilliant as our Founding Fathers were, perchance they gave us a little too much credit? Notwithstanding their sagacity, the Founders likely never envisaged a scenario in which the American people would elect a Commander in Chief who is a national security risk.

Bravo Zulu!

What exactly are liberals crowing about today? They detest the military. The United States military successfully rescued Great American, Captain Richard Phillips on Easter Sunday. Our troops performed superbly, and the matter was finally ended, most decisively, by expertly trained, highly skilled Navy SEALS.

Profiles in Cowardice:  Obama Rolls Over Again

When I was a little girl, my parents told me I was very lucky to be an American. They explained that I had the good fortune of being able to travel anywhere in the world that captured my interest when I grew up. Nobody, anywhere, would harass an American. We had proven our resolve in World War II; everyone knew Americans were unyielding.

Liberty and Tyranny:  A Conservative Manifesto

Pardon my gloating; I was prescient enough to pre order Mark Levin’s new book long before its scheduled release date. Ergo, not only do I have a copy, I’ve been able to get it read. I have read his previous books, Men in Black and Rescuing Sprite, so my expectations were high.

Barry, Your Roots are Showing!

Are we allowed now to use the president’s full name, Barack Hussein Obama? The rules keep changing. One day it’s a hate crime, another day a source of pride for the president. Is someone keeping track, is there a web site I can check periodically to see if it’s a Hussein Okay Day?

Lift Off for Lil Kim!

Kim Jong Il Missile LaunchDisplaying an extraordinarily good sense of timing, North Korea launched a missile Saturday night to coincide with President Barack Obama’s lecture about eliminating nuclear weapons from the face of the planet. The missile event was also a birthday tribute to Kim Jong Il’s late father. There is talk that Lil Kim himself may make a public appearance soon, his first since August.

California’s Busiest Shopping Day:  April Fool’s Eve!

Confirming that liberals have no sense of irony, April Fool’s Day this year will be commemorated with a new slew of confiscatory taxes assembled by the imbeciles in Sacramento who cannot grasp the most rudimentary economic principles. On April 1st, Californians will be sentenced to higher sales, personal income taxes and vehicle taxes.

Ayer’ed Out:  How Bill Ayers is Influencing Your Kids

“There’s something about a good bomb . . . night after night, day after day, each majestic scene I witnessed was so terrible and unexpected that no city would ever again stand innocently fixed in my mind.”

Obama and the Mau Mau

Yet again, it seems that Barack Obama is acting out his pathology at our expense. His appalling treatment of British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, could be written off as another example of this administration’s incompetence. But, it also looks as if Obama also has his own ax to grind with the Brits and lacks the emotional maturity to deal with it like a grown up.

Capitalism Didn’t Fail:  We Ought to Try it Sometime

As the left tries to convince us that AIG is a more menacing threat to the American way of life than Al Qaeda, it is disheartening to see some conservatives getting sucked into the whirling mythology about the Evils of Capitalism. We expect liberals to attack big business; it’s what they do. But, conservatives ought to be showing more sense than to recommend Hari Kari for insurance executives as the cure for America’s economic woes.

Cruelty, Thy Name is Obama

The Obama administration is making it easier than usual to mine the depths of liberal cruelty. For all of their endless jactitations of compassion for the less fortunate, the current crop of liberals in charge wasted no time setting about to destroy the futures of disadvantaged minority schoolchildren in Washington, DC.

Steven Emerson and the Grand Deception:  The Islamic Threat

Despite impressive efforts by the local news media to keep it a secret, Steve Emerson, a leading authoritiy on Islamic extremism spoke at an event in Rancho Mirage, California Sunday evening. Once the dinner event had sold out, The Desert Sun inserted a brilliantly crafted piece in the B Section, guaranteed to generate plenty of buzz: “Not everyone has the same values. Some values are a direct threat to the American way of life. That's the take-away Steven Emerson hopes to impart as the featured speaker for Sunday's World Affairs Council of the Desert Distinguished Speakers Series.”

The Audacity of Obvious:  Obama May Not be Centrist?

It is always inspiring to observe the remarkable gift of the ability to see the excruciatingly obvious. However, it may be premature to break out the 2012 party hats. The reported Obama Awakenings, while welcome, may not be absolute evidence that America is shaking off its ether and coming to its collective senses.

Jonathan Krohn and Liberal Nazis

One of the brightest spots of CPAC 2009 was a brief statement by 14-year-old Jonathan Krohn about conservatism. The well dressed, articulate young man shared his views as set forth in his book: Define Conservatism. Yes, he was home schooled. The crowd was suitably impressed with this gifted young man.

If Conservatism is Dead, That Was a Heck of a Funeral!

“Conservatism as we know it is dead. Its last bastion of power, Washington, is being overrun as we speak, in a blitzkrieg operation fueled by popular panic and led by a charismatic field marshal. To the extent conservative ideology survives the onslaught, it will be as a guerilla force, making its presence felt on web sites and radio call-in shows but never in the corridors of real power.”
