MSNBC dumps Alec Baldwin after only 46 days

I'll admit it. I'm disappointed. When a narcissistic member of the Hollywood elite is given a news-ish talk show on which to vent his obvious anger management issues, you expect great things. ...And now, our hopes are dashed.

Politico: Congressional Democrats on the verge of abandoning president over ObamaCare

If you want to know what Democrats are thinking, and you don't want to subject yourself to the horrors of MSNBC, the Politico is the place to do it. There you can find hopes, fears, and realities, all wrapped up in bite-sized left-leaning nuggets. So, when they start reporting that congressional Dems are feeling the heat due to Obamacare, you can bet that all the little rank-and-file liberals will stand up and take notice.

Obama administration estimate: As many as four out of five to lose their employer coverage

As the President's egregious "if you like your plan you can keep your plan" lie was being laid bare, there was one constant response. Democrats promised, again and again, that the cancellations - though impacting millions - would be limited to people who purchase individual insurance. That's about 8% of the population. Sure, it takes a staggering level of hubris to claim that 25 million Americans represent a "non-issue" but that was their claim. ...and, as usual, it was completely bogus.

Washington Post suddenly realizes you can't keep your doctor, either

Now that they've realized that President Obama's healthcare disaster has been a multi-year parade of lies, the media finally seems interested doing a little digging. We've seen multiple scathing reports from ABC and CBS News, but today's example comes from the Washington Post. It seems they've suddenly realized that much like your preferred plan, Obamacare won't necessarily let you keep your doctor or your hospital either.

CBS News Poll: Support for both Obama and ObamaCare plummets to an all time low

By now, as Debbie Wasserman Schultz likes to claim, Americans are feeling the glorious, beneficial, effects of Obamacare. The nation is enthralled with the new law, and while there have been a few "minor glitches," everyone is just so thrilled with the new system that Democrats are anxious to reap their rewards. Well, reap away, Dems.

Healthcare.gov crashes during Sebelius photo op, but it's OK because it 'happens every day!'

Yesterday afternoon, Kathleen Sebelius walked into North Shore Hospital near Miami Shores for meet-and-greet photo op. The whole event was designed to be an Affordable Care Act pep rally, orchestrated to show just how effortlessly a person can sign up for Obamacare with the aid of an official "navigator." She smiled for the cameras, shook hands with her lackeys, and then, while the cameras rolled, the website crashed.

Obama offers unilateral Obamacare 'fix' that isn't a 'fix' - during history's worst presser

If you watched President Obama's press conference today, you witnessed one of the worst performances in White House history. Obama's appearance was a long, rambling, barely coherent mess strung together by football analogies and seatbelt similes. At one point he admitted he "wasn't a perfect man" and, while that moment of clarity may count for something, it was about the only incontrovertible point he managed to make.

ObamaCare girl not a US citizen, hasn't signed up, never got paid for her photo

One of the big mysteries surrounding the launch of Healthcare.gov (aside from "why would anyone launch a website that is so completely and obviously broken?") was the identity of the mystery girl on the front page. Before her photo was taken down, her smile became synonymous with the implosion of the ACA rollout. Yet no one knew who she was. ...Until now.

WaPo agrees. There's no way Healthcare.gov will be fixed by Dec. 1

After the President made his "the website will be fixed by December 1st" promise, it took about 5 minutes for sane people everywhere to realize there was no way he could keep it. The problems with Healthcare.gov simply run too deep. Experts were saying the site needed months of work, and possibly a complete overhaul. Anyone could see that six weeks wasn't going to be enough time, regardless of how many "best and brightest tech experts" the Obama administration threw at the problem.

Obama administration to pad enrollment numbers with people who haven't bought insurance

Let's say you're browsing Amazon. You've set up a username and password, and you're looking at ...oh, I don't know, a set of steak knives. You throw a hundred dollar set of Wustofs in your shopping cart, but before you checkout you think "I don't need knives this expensive. Forget it." You close your browser without purchasing anything and you go on with your day.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations opens speech by honoring Jane Fonda

When, in the wake of the Benghazi scandal, Susan Rice left her post as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, we all hoped her replacement would be ...a bit more competent. This week her successor, Samantha Power, dashed those hopes. Power spoke Wednesday in New York, where she was addressing the United Nations Association of the USA 2013 Global Leadership Awards.

To distract from Obamacare, Obama 'pivots to the economy' - for the first time this week!

It's no secret that the President's had a disastrous month. Healthcare.gov is in shambles, the program that spawned it is deeply unpopular, and - according to both the AP and Gallup - his poll numbers are tanking. So what is Barack Obama to do? Apologize? No, not really. Acknowledge that no one likes his signature law? Of course not. Reverse course in a vain effort to preserve his legacy? Please.

Wasserman Schultz: 'Nothing any Democrat said about Obamacare was not true'

The inside of Debbie Wasserman Schultz's mind must be a lot like Disneyland. It stands apart from the rest of the world - a colorful, carefree, fanciful place where imagination has triumphed over the reality in which real people spend the majority of their lives. There's simply no other way to explain the DNC chairwoman's latest claim.
