Disgraced FBI Director James Comey: If you believe in America’s values, you ‘must vote for Democrats’
If there’s one thing we know, it’s that Democrats think James Comey is a monster whose incompetence robbed Hillary of her rightful place upon America’s throne.

MSNBC hot take: Trump’s Putin presser just like ‘Pearl Harbor or Kristallnacht’
If you follow me over on Twitter, and you should, you know I don’t think Trump had a great day yesterday.  No, I don’t think it was “Treason.” I don’t think it was an indication that he’s “owned by Putin.” I don’t think he should be impeached, and I don’t think it – in any way – diminishes his accomplishments as President.  I just don’t think it was one of his better appearances.

Dianne Feinstein determined to stop Kavanaugh – in desperate bid to suggest she’s still relevant to her party
For just a moment – because a moment is all I can stand – I’m going to pretend I’m Dianne Feinstein.  I’m 85 years old, I’m the oldest currently serving Senator, and I’ve been a stalwart voice for left-wing issues throughout the entirety of my almost impossibly-long career.  I was recently thrown under the bus by my own state party. They’ve suddenly decided that, after decades of faithful service, I’m not liberal enough to fight for the socialist, open-borders, policies they want to ram down America’s throat.  So, what do I do.

Dianne Feinstein is just too right-wing for the now-socialist Democratic Party
It was no secret that hardcore progressives – who now view lifelong leftist Dianne Feinstein as some kind of right-wing overlord – were going to attempt to stomp California deeper into the left-wing Democrat mire by denying Feinstein their party’s endorsement. Still, it was supposed to be a close vote.  No one expected the landslide defeat that Feinstein suffered this weekend.

Young fresh face of the Democratic-socialist party has no idea what she’s talking about re: Israel
I’m willing to bet it went something like this:  A 20-year-old college socialist heard the phrase “Israeli occupation of Palestine” over and over again.  As her political views solidified, and she made her meteoric rise through the ranks of the now-socialist New York Democratic Party, she realized that the radical base loves to hear people say it.

Texas GOP Rep. John Ratcliffe obliterates Strozk claim that his personal opinions were kept separate from his work
If you’ve been on any of the various social media platforms this morning, you’ve seen Dems jumping through hoops to defend disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok.  It’s completely ridiculous, but there’s simply no avoiding it.  Whether they’re trying to portray their new favorite liar as some sort of war hero, or simply arguing that he did his job to the best of his ability, they’re extending him a benefit of doubt that they would NEVER offer an FBI agent who had similarly attacked a Democrat candidate.

The crux of their defense usually relies on the idea that his blatant, extreme, and overwhelming animosity toward President Trump never infected any of the high-level investigations of which he took part.  Anyone with an I.Q. above that of the average fruit fly can see it’s complete B.S., but that’s the claim they’re making.

Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) tells Peter Strzok he deserves a purple heart
As you watch the following clip, please keep one thing in mind.  The Purple Heart is given to honor service men and women who have been injured or killed in combat.  It is the country’s oldest military award and, as the V.A. puts it, “one of the most recognized and respected medals awarded to members of the U.S. armed forces.”

Strzok testimony begins with blistering assault from Gowdy, then devolves into the usual congression
Despite the fact that we never expect much to come out of these hearings, we were glued to C-Span here at Cain HQ.  At first, we weren’t disappointed. Strzok is as smarmy and self-righteous as you’d expect, Trey Gowdy came out of the gate with a blistering series of pointed questions that put him back on his heels, and the Democrats were – as usual – desperate to shield “their guy” from the proceedings.

Here is the complete Gowdy segment of the proceedings…

Sorry, but you’re not getting President ‘The Rock.’ Not in 2020, at least.

Sorry, but you’re not getting President ‘The Rock.’ Not in 2020, at least.
For a long time – years in fact – we’ve heard rumblings that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson wants to run for President.  He recently admitted considering it and, every so often, we go through a round of political will he/won’t he. Johnson is a registered independent, although prior to 2016 it appeared he was more closely aligned to the GOP side of the aisle.  In the end, it doesn’t really matter what his political beliefs are because, at least for the time being, he won’t be seeking office.

A quick look at his upcoming movie schedule probably could have told you this, but just in case you don’t feel like looking, The Rock himself has thrown cold water on the idea.

Dem Joe Manchin: Kavanaugh a ‘very fine person’ with ‘all the right qualities’
Imagine you’re a leftist Democrat. I know it’s horribly unpleasant, but don’t worry. I won’t make you do this for long. Just imagine you’re a leftist Democrat.

You just lost what you thought was a slam dunk election because your own party cheated the guy you wanted to be your presidential nominee.  A man you absolutely despise is President, and he’s all but erased the legacy of your political paragon, Barack Obama. You view the constitution as a nuisance, one SCOTUS seat has already gone go to a strict constructionist, and you’ve just watched the announcement of another SCOTUS nominee who you think will pull the court ever further toward our “outdated” founding document.

Ryan: We’re ‘very disturbed’ that Lisa Page has defied a congressional subpoena

PAUL RYAN, LISA PAGE
Listen.  I’m glad Paul Ryan is “very disturbed” that disgraced FBI attorney Lisa Page has defied a congressional subpoena. He should be.  Page was supposed to appear this morning and, apparently, decided she had better things to do than comply with the law.

Game already over: Enjoy this clip of media lefties acknowledging how great Kavanaugh is
Yesterday, I offered this collection of left-wingers indulging in a pre-planned freakout over the Kavanaugh nomination.  This morning, Dan shared a video of some of the same politically-neutered folks screeching and wailing as if the world would soon end. A few minutes ago, the boss explained why he thinks the “stop Kavanaugh” effort is headed for failure. Now, I’ll go him one better.

Left-wing meltdown
At the top of this page, you’ll see a picture of Cory Booker surrounded by “Stop Kavanaugh” signs. This image was posted on Twitter at roughly 9:13 PM last night. Considering the time of the announcement, this means one of two things:

CNN’s Chris Cillizza makes an absolute fool of himself amid Kavanaugh nomination
Let’s face it.  If you work for CNN, you’re part of a machine that’s pushing a very specific agenda. Your goal is to attack, demonize, and bring down the presidency of Donald Trump by any means necessary.

Strategically, Barrett is Trump's best choice for SCOTUS. Here’s why--Hint: think midterms & 2020
Tonight at 9PM, President Trump will unveil his next Supreme Court nominee. That person will, immediately, be reviled by the left. They will be branded a racist, a misogynist, a Nazi, a monster, a fascist, and all of the other standard left-wing attack labels.  It makes absolutely NO DIFFERENCE who that person is, either. Democrats don’t really care who Trump puts up.  Whoever it is, the attacks will be largely the same.

That’s why, of the three oft-named front runners, Amy Coney Barrett makes the most sense.

Mitch McConnell mockingly responds to Schumer’s call for Merrick Garland SCOTUS nomination
For years, it seemed like there was no fight that Mitch McConnell wasn’t prepared to lose. Like most conservative outlets, that meant we gave Mitch quite a bit of (well deserved) grief.

Lately, though, he seems to have taken a shine to winning. Perhaps his successful handling of the late-term Obama nomination of Merrick Garland stirred something within him. Maybe he’s just leaning in to the whole “cocaine Mitch” persona…

NYT columnist comes unglued on MSNBC: Justice Kennedy ‘betrayed the nation’ – is ‘destroying’ it
Panic! Hysteria! Rage! Hand-wringing and hyperbole! The left is in free fall right now, and they seem to be blissfully unaware that the fear tactics they’re still employing are the very things that got them into this mess in the first place.  They offer nothing but excuses for their losses, they present no viable path forward, and they spend all their time pointing fingers at the alleged perpetrators of our global doom.

Report: Trump narrows SCOTUS list to two names
The nomination of the next Supreme Court nominee has the media in a tizzy, conservatives excited, and Democrats in as sort of bipolar hysteria that careens wildly back and forth between rage and panic. Lefties will, undoubtedly, have a meltdown no matter who the President chooses, while Republicans are hoping to see another Gorsuch land on the bench. The fight is going to be a slog, and we genuinely have no idea how it’s going to end.

…But thanks to Fox News White House correspondent John Roberts, we do know when it’s going to start.

DNC Chair Tom Perez says NY socialist Ocasio-Cortez Is ‘the future of our party’
Last week, liberal hearts were all aflutter. 28-year-old socialist, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, managed to push New York Congressman Joe Crowley out of a seat he’d held for a decade. Suddenly, the far-left had a candidate they could get behind. Almost overnight, Ocasio-Cortez’s name became a rallying cry against the Democrat Party elites who are now apparently too conservative for their own base.

Never mind that the party is run almost exclusively by leftist statists. That doesn’t matter, because they’re just not far left enough.

Dem Senator threatens: Vote to confirm Trump’s SCOTUS pick, and your career is probably doomed

Dem Senator threatens: Vote to confirm Trump’s SCOTUS pick, and your career is probably doomed
A funny thing happened over the weekend: Democrats admitted that “elections have consequences.” Sure, we’ve heard them use that phrase when they defeat a Republican, but it’s pretty rare that they bring it up when the White House isn’t occupied by one of their own. Clearly, something has changed.

That ‘something’ is the reality that Anthony Kennedy has decided to retire and a man lefties absolutely revile gets another SCOTUS pick.  Given President Trump’s record, that means the SCOTUS will probably shift – at least somewhat – in favor of the constitution. …And the RINOS and Dems are completely freaking out.
